1) CASE WORK:

Forensic Practice includes cases (both plaintiff & defense) involving injury accident (including occupational-workman’s comp.) and medical negligence.

I work in a spectrum of personal injury insurance forums (state workman’s comp., self-Insured, federal (OWCP) and private sector): I am regularly asked, feel comfortable and do IME’s and comment, depose and/or testify in court on diagnosis, treatment, causation, apportionment, residuals, merit, standards, future treatment and prognosis.

Careful attention to detail and clear statement to reasonable medical certainty, based on evidence-based medicine makes findings of medical fact accurate and durable.

I work in my offices in Washington, Idaho, and Utah to serve those areas as well as Nevada, Wyoming, Montana and Oregon; 20% of my work is across the rest of the U.S.

Orthopedic Surgical Experience: My ongoing orthopedic work includes more than 35 years of surgical experience in university, office and hospital based diagnosis, treatment, surgery and follow-up. I continue to consult for and lecture to a broad spectrum of professional and community organizations in my areas of focus including trial attorneys, defense attorneys and insurance groups. I keep up with the literature by regularly attending hands-on and regular CME for surgery and forensics with the established experts in the particular subject.
