Healthy & Happy Executive Kennel Poodles

We are determined to produce the healthiest puppies possible. To that end, all of our breeding dogs undergo thorough testing before becoming parents. In addition, many generations of physically sound and temperamentally mellow parents give assurance that our new puppies will be superior. The success of this program is illustrated by the sound hips of our puppies. In the past few years, we have been blessed with entire litters having hips rated by OFA as “excellent”. Many breeders have never received even one excellent rating. 

Nutrition is a top concern at Executive Kennels. We feed specially formulated diets matched to the special needs of the individual dog. Breeding dogs, pregnant bitches, nursing moms, puppies and retired veterans each get the specialized diet that they require. A major part of the kennel menu is prepared on site, supplemented by the finest obtainable commercial feed. The success of this approach is reflected in the luxuriant coats, the strong teeth and the obvious vitality of all our dogs. 

Our puppies are born into a loving and caring home environment. When our expectant girls are a few weeks from delivery, they move from the kennel into Lorraine’s house where they stay for the whelping and well past the weaning of the puppies. Each litter has its individual room where it lives under Lorraine’s watchful eye. The puppies remain with her until they are ready, at eight weeks of age, to find a new home. 

Standard poodle puppies come in a variety of the recognized colors at Executive Kennels. From time to time, we have black, white, brown, silver or blue dogs available. If you have a preference, we urge you to call to reserve a puppy from a future litter. 

The newly purchased puppy goes home with its new family complete with all the support elements needed to make a successful transition to its new life. It will have a supply of its accustomed food and water while it adapts to its new surroundings. A record of vaccinations received and recommendations for future shots will be sent along with the new owner. AKC registration papers will be provided, along with the pedigree that shows the puppy’s ancestry. You will have specific recommendations for selecting a veterinarian and a groomer. You will have an invitation to learn from us the art of grooming which many of our clients have found to be surprisingly easy as well as being a humane and economical alternative to the grooming shop. You will have an open line to any of us if future consultation is needed for any situation whatever. 

All in all, we will do everything necessary to ensure that owning an Executive Kennels puppy is a happy and rewarding experience. We look forward to your call and to meeting you in person.
